Dear John, David, Cherry, Chris, and Family, Your wife and Mom, your beloved sweet Anna, was a dear and precious friend to me for many years, and I shall always and forever be thankful to the Heavenly Father for bringing Anna into my life and heart. She was indeed everything that a true friend should be, and she was the essence of love and grace and beauty. Every time that I spoke with her, she talked with such delight and joy and love about each of you, her beloved John, her beloved children, and her beloved grandchildren. May God bless you with the fondest memories of Anna; may He comfort you in your sorrow as you miss her; may He grant unto you His peace in knowing that she is with Him, that He is taking care of her for you, that she rejoices in Heaven, and that you will indeed see her again. So many of us will keep you in our prayers and thoughts, and we will remember Anna with our most special memories of life and happiness with her. May God guide you through these days and shine His Light upon you. Numbers 6:24-26. Love and blessings to you.

Dear John, Chris, Katie, Cherry, Pete, David and Jana, and families,
We are all so sorry to hear the very sad news this must be a shock to you all despite Anna being unwell over the last few days. We are pleased that Wayne and Judy were able to see Anna so recently. Graham and I are going to my Mums house tomorrow and will wait until then to tell her, so we can be there to comfort her at this difficult time. We are all living with heightened emotions currently as next week my Mum moves out of the house she has lived in for 34 years and she and Dad loved so much. The good news is she will be living very close to us in a Retirement apartment and we will see her on a regular basis every week and best for her, she will get to see her adorable great granddaughter most weeks.
When we were in Elton (UK) last week end we talked of all your family and it was lovely that Mum had two of her grandsons, Chris and Paul staying as well. She is impressed they both follow some of you on Facebook and keep up to date with your news. We have sorted through so many old photos recently and your family features in so many of them. Packing up to move can be a real nostalgia trip......your family and John and Anna particularly are so close to our hearts. Thinking of you all as well with the awful hurricane affecting Houston, Texas, and now Louisiana.
Keep in touch,
Much love

It is for you Chris and family that our hearts ache. Anna is free from all earthly pain or tears. But her love lives on through all the lives she touched in her life. We met her at your wedding where she was gracious, kind and thoughtful, so that we had loving thoughts for her ever since! God is pleased to welcome her home and he will comfort you and help you remember many special times together.
We send a heart hug, love and prayers for the days to come. We will always be here for you, Catron and kids. And our heartfelt prayers are with John as he is sure to feel lonely with his sadness.
Call or come out anytime! We love you all! Marana mom and pop

My family's friendship with the Enloe's began in Montgomery, AL. What a wonderful family and I even got to meet Mama Jamie. We moved a lot and so did they, the kids grew up and we stayed connected through letters and pictures (no cell phones). Anna was the heart of this big, beautiful clan and will be missed so much. She was always a joy to be around and to share stories with. I was privileged to speak with her recently. We talked about down-sizing our homes, what our children were up to, our health, our wonderful grandchildren, our fun short days in England and our golf-loving husbands. I will miss her warmth, her honesty, that great sense of humor and I thank God our paths crossed more than once. I will hold those memories in my heart forever, RIP dear friend. When we took this photo I had no idea it would be our last. My mom is now my guardian angel. She was the mom who sat on the end of my bed for months while I was on bed rest, the first phone call if I had the slightest cold or a bad day. She never met a stranger, so there were never any short trips anywhere because she talked to everyone! But mostly she was FUN! She danced and sang and she was sarcastic and hilarious. She found her calling when she became a grandmother and she was crazy about her 9 grandchildren, and they were just as crazy about her. She will be greatly missed. 💖

First of all, thanks to everyone for all of the awesome birthday wishes. Sadly, today was the day my Mom, Anna Enloe got to go to the heavens and rest in His arms forever. She was "Anna" to many but let's face it - she was Nana for the last 27 years to not only her own 9 grandchildren but to lots and lots of their friends, and ours too!! One of our kid's buddies called Nana "Grandma Goals", as in the gold standard of grandmothers. So funny, so caring, and did I mention so funny? She was an awesome mother-in-law to Jana Enloe. We will miss her dearly but I'm very glad she is free of all the pain that had troubled her these past several years.

Yesterday my mom, Anna Enloe went to be with our Lord. It was sudden and a difficult day. Today is harder. We had a very special, close relationship. We talked often, laughed often, hugged often, saw each other every chance we could and by God's grace that was a lot! I'll never regret making time with my parents a priority. I am very blessed to have had the best mom EVER. Thank you for the many messages of love and support. I know she was loved by many. Mom - I'll miss you every day. Say hi to Tine, Bubba, Mama Janie, and Lona Bee for us. I know you all are together right now rejoicing!
